About Us & Our Goals

At EmpathyHQ, we understand the importance of equipping children with the necessary skills to navigate the ups and downs of life. Our Program is designed to help children ages 0-17 learn how to manage their emotions, develop effective coping strategies, and seek support when needed. With a focus on fostering emotional intelligence and resilience, we provide a safe and supportive space for children to grow and thrive.

Increase the ability to name and understand feelings
Increase the understanding and use of coping skills

Why choose EmpathyHQ?

We believe that children who can effectively name and understand their feelings can then self-manage behaviors using coping skills and/or ask for help from staff members, thus reducing behaviors that lead to suspensions and academic issues.

Tailored Treatment
We recognize that every child is unique, which is why our program offers tailored support. Whether a child requires individual counseling or group therapy, we work closely with them to address their specific needs, fostering personal growth and empowerment.
Engaging Group Therapy
Our group therapy sessions are designed to be engaging and interactive, utilizing games, play, and age-appropriate activities. These sessions provide opportunities for children to develop social skills, build connections with peers, and learn from one another in a supportive group setting.
Holistic Approach
Our program covers various age groups, from infants to high school students, with a curriculum tailored to their developmental needs. As children progress through different stages, we address specific challenges such as conflict resolution, peer relationships, bullying, and peer pressure, enabling them to navigate these issues confidently.
Experienced and Compassionate Therapists:
Our program is led by a team of experienced and compassionate therapists who specialize in working with children. They are trained in evidence-based approaches and are dedicated to providing a supportive and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Flexible Scheduling Options
We understand that each family's schedule is unique, which is why we offer flexible scheduling options. Group therapy sessions are generally held between 4 - 6 pm, while individual counseling can be scheduled before 3 pm.
