Serina is the mother of four awesome daughters, ages 5 to 18, who she is confident will change the world. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. Shortly after graduation, she began to delve into the medical field and gained a multitude of experience in insurance billing and verification, record analysis to balance company revenue, financial coordination for transplant services as well patient care and advocacy. From these experiences, she developed a passion to want to help people not only with their financial concerns but with their emotional needs as well. Thus, she began working on a Master’s of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington in the Fall of 2017 and is expected to graduate in the Spring of 2019 with a focus in Direct Practice with Children and Families. Her prior employment in transplant allowed me to unearth a new-found passion to assist patients, clients, and/or customers on a more personal level to assist in success where their knowledge may cease. She looks forward to counseling others to clinical and financial success upon graduation.
