Team Details

Shawn grew up in the DFW area and currently resides there with his wife, six of his seven children (the oldest has his own place now), and two dogs. When Shawn is not working during his internship, completing graduate school, or driving his six kids around to various sporting events, he enjoys video games and doing anything outside in nature.

Shawn is working towards a degree in Marriage and Family therapy and looks at problems from a systems perspective and enjoys working with families more than anything.  Large families with many kids looking for structure, mixed families bringing in children and the dreaded “stepparent” labels, adult siblings and child-parent relationships, divorce, illness, behavioral issues, infidelty, intimacy issues, you name it.  Shawn likes to think of relationships as the client more than the individuals themselves. Think of the quote “No man is an Island, entire of it self; every man is a piece of the Continent, a part of the main” by John Donne.
